Mr. Geffory Alan McTaggart, age 65, passed away on Saturday, December 14, 2024, surrounded by his loving family.
Services for Geffory will be at 2:00 PM on Friday, December 20, 2024, at Hanlin Funeral Home in Vassar; visitation will begin at 12:00 PM (Noon) and last until the time of service.
Geffory was born in Flint, Michigan, on May 13, 1959, to Delbert & Mary McTaggart (née Buhl). On April 24, 1976, he married the love of his life, Pamela Kennard. Together they shared countless memories, raised their sons Jeremy and Jonathan, and celebrated 48 years of marriage. Before retirement, Geffory worked as a skilled tradesman and in production with General Motors. He was an avid motorcyclist and enjoyed riding his Harley with friends and family. He had traveled extensively around the U.S. and made many memories and friends along the way. Geffory was a man who truly loved life. He was a sociable and hardworking man who will be deeply missed. Above all, he loved his family and being a grandfather to his grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife, Pam McTaggart; son, Jon (Cristine) McTaggart; grandchildren: Michael McTaggart, Julia (Wyatt) Horton, Alexa McTaggart, and Brenna McTaggart; siblings: Thomas (Nancy) McTaggart, Vickie Smith, and Gregory (Gloria) McTaggart; as well as nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
Geffory was preceded in death by his son, Jeremy McTaggart; parents, Delbert & Mary McTaggart; brother, Timothy McTaggart; and his grandparents.
