Waltrip, Linda M. – of Clio, age 74, went home to be with her lord on Wednesday, January 27, 2022, at Hurley Medical Center. Funeral Services will be held 11AM Monday, January 31, 2022, at Bible Baptist Church – 6205 Birch Run Rd. Pastor Dale Lewis Officiating. The family will receive visitors at the O’Guinn Family Funeral Home in Clio on Sunday from 1PM until 4PM and 6PM until 8PM, and at the church on Monday from 10AM till the time of service at 11AM.
Linda was born May 25, 1947, in Flint, Michigan to the late John Paul and Lillian Elaine Cunningham. She married Shannon Dale Waltrip on June 24, 1967, he preceded her in death in July 2014. Linda was a member of the Bible Baptist Church in Birch Run, MI. She taught ceramic classes in Clio at Pretty Projects for many years. Linda enjoyed ceramics, basket weaving, painting, and cooking. One of her favorite things to do was gardening and working outside in the yard and her flower beds. She was known as always being able to find the best deals around. Above all she will be missed by many.
Surviving are: Daughter, Tina (Paul) Ahejew; Step grandson, Jacob Ahejew. Her very special friend Gary Cameron; Siblings: Kathleen (Gary) Prieur, Tom (Carol) Cunningham and Mike (Monica) Cunningham. Several nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was preceded by brother, Larry Cunningham, nephews: Kevin and Mike Prieur.
