Loje, Lawrence (Lojewski) died on Sunday, February 23, 2025, at Henry Ford Genesys. Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Wednesday, February 26, 2025, at Rossell Funeral Home. A Rosary will be prayed at 7 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. A private funeral Mass and burial will take place. If desired, memorial contributions may be made to St. Luke New Life Center.
Lawrence was born in Cleveland, Ohio on June 18, 1939, the son of Polish Catholic parents, Chester and Lottie (Recko) Loje. They instilled in him a love for his faith and heritage, and he was proud of them both. They provided him with a solid Catholic education, completing his studies at the University of Notre Dame and John Carroll University. Larry proudly served in the U.S. Army and was a Veteran. He worked for over 36 years for General Motors. After the passing of his first wife, Elaine, he married Marcia Noyle on September 30, 2005.
Larry is survived by his wife, Marcia; four children, Dennis (Teresa) Loje, Denise Loje, Diane (James) Castle-Meszaros, David (Christina) Loje; two step-children; grandchildren, Samantha, Ashley, Forrest, Hunter, Austin; and his brother, Kenneth (Louise) Loje. He was preceded in death by his parents and first wife, Elaine.
