Hosner, Cheryl Lee of Dunnellon, Florida, formerly of Mt. Morris, died Thursday, June 26, 2025, at U of M Hospital in Ann Arbor.
Funeral Service will be 11 a.m. Thursday, July 3, 2025, at Rossell Funeral Home. Visitation will be 2-6 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. If desired, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital or Genesee County Humane Society.
Cheryl was born in Flint, Michigan on May 30, 1952, the daughter of Peter and Virginia (Barbera) Slavik. She married Allen Hosner on December 13, 1981, in Flint. Cheryl worked for General Motors at Buick City for 18 years. She was also a Beautician in her home salon. Together with her husband, they loved traveling, whether it was taking cruises, Jamaica being their favorite, traveling across the country in their RV, or taking the pontoon down Crystal River in Florida. They also enjoyed their home in St. Helen, Michigan where she could boat and fish. Traveling with their grandchildren was their best time. Cheryl enjoyed singing and dancing to Motown music, Elvis impersonators, going to the movies, dancing and she was an avid reader. She loved cooking Italian dinners and having dinner parties.
Cheryl is survived by her beloved husband, Allen; daughter, Stacey (Rodney) Coleman; grandchildren, Chloe and Blake Coleman; niece, Barbie (Chris) Ewald; and great-nephews, Kristopher and Brenden Bennett.
She was preceded in death by her parents. |
