LEE, Dennis M. – of Vassar, age 74, died on Thursday, August 25, 2022, at Angel Manor in Clio. Honoring his wishes, cremation will be taking place. A Celebration of Dennis’ Life will be held on Saturday, October 15, 2022, from 12:30PM until 3:30PM at Rogers Lodge - 219 Rogers Lodge Dr., in Clio.
Dennis was born February 25, 1948, in Flint, Michigan, to the late Wilford and Katherine (Ware) Lee. He married the love of his life, Margaret Jones on October 24, 1964. Dennis took sign language courses at Mott Community College, and later earned his bachelor’s degree in social work from Central Michigan University. He worked at General Motors – Flint Truck and Bus for several years and was a case manager for Genesee County Community Mental Health (CMH) for 18 years before retiring in 2005. Dennis enjoyed camping and spent 20 years camping in a tent before upgrading to his motorhome. He also enjoyed go cart, motorcycle, quad, and side-by-side trail riding. Dennis was a voracious reader, and you could always find him reading books by his favorite author, Louis L'Amour. He loved visiting with family and could sit and talk for hours. Above all, Dennis loved his wife and sons. He will be greatly missed by all.
Surviving are: Loving wife, Margaret Lee; Sons: David (Cara) Lee, and Michael Lee; Grandchildren: James Lee, John (Katelyn) Lee, Katherine (Derrick) Charles, Christopher Lee, Desiree Lee, and Loren Lee; Great grandchildren: Matthew, Ronan, Harley, Chase, Willow, Aidan, Benjamin, and Derrick Jr.; Siblings: Teresa (Kevin) Charles, Jonathan Lee, Sarah Lee, and Lloyd Kammers (Melinda); Nephews and nieces: Matthew (Suzanne) Pruitt, Vicki Pruitt, Christina (Keith) Mullaly, Nathan (Lauri) Charles, Bradley Charles (Fiancée Brittany Hooker), Diamond, Danielle, Justice, Elijah, Izzy, and Maddy; Great nephews and nieces: Anthony, Jaden, Brooklyn, James, Jesse, Jason, Justin, Daniel, Adren, and Brianna; Many other loving family members and dear friends.
