ALLEN, Laura Lee - Of Burton, age 64, died Thursday, February 20, 2014 at McLaren-Flint.
Funeral service will be held 2pm Wednesday, February 26, 2014
at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint,
Reverend David K. Flowers officiating.
Visitation 9am Wednesday until the time of the service at the funeral home.
Burial in Evergreen Cemetery.
Laura was born in Goodrich on April 18, 1949, and was a resident of the Flint area all of her life. She loved her family, especially the children and her puppies. She also enjoyed fishing.
Surviving are son, Michael Allen and wife Jacqueline;
grandson, Jacob Morrison;
long-time companion, Randy Redmond;
siblings, Linda Herrick, Debbie and husband Charles Spence and Randy and wife Debbie Burke;
uncle, Walt Davenport;
several nieces, nephews and cousins;
lifetime friend, Vicky Zapata.
She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Phyllis (Davenport) Burke, and aunt, Sr. Claudia Burke.
