BOYD, Anna V. “Grandma Annie” - Of Swartz Creek, age 106, died Tuesday, January 14, 2025.
Funeral service will be held 11am Saturday, January 18, 2025 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint, MI,
Pastor Jeffrey Roth officiating.
Burial in Crestwood Cemetery.
Visitation 5-8pm Friday at the funeral home.

Anna was born in Beech Grove, Arkansas on August 13, 1918 and was a resident of the Flint area for 62 years. She married Joseph Burl Boyd on November 30, 1935. Anna was a member Swartz Creek Community Church. Mrs. Boyd worked at GM Ternstedt for 18 years.
Surviving are daughter, Rita Ignace;
Grandchildren, Sherry and husband Greg Putney,
Sue and husband Gary Baade,
Jennifer and husband Mike Allen,
Beth and husband Scott James,
Stillman and wife Susi Jordan,
Michael and wife Amy Ignace;
21 great-grandchildren;
39 great-great-grandchildren;
several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph, daughter, Kay Jordan, parents, John and Viola Scobey, granddaughter, Kim Brohn, 2 great-grandchildren, 5 sisters, and 4 brothers.
