Carl James “Jim” Radon, 82, of Corunna, passed away at his home on Thursday, December 23, 2021. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, December 29, 2021 at 12:00pm at Watkins Brothers Funeral Homes, Corunna Chapel, burial will follow in Oakwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 11:00am until the service.
Carl was born on April 11, 1939 in Flint, Michigan to the late Anthony W. and Annette (McManus) Radon. He graduated from Bendle High School and on March 31, 1962 he married Bonnie Lou Frazee in Flint and together they raised six children. Carl worked at Midwest Bus as a mechanic retiring in 2000. He enjoyed fishing and hunting and loved watching Detroit Sports. He loved his grandchildren and spending time with his family.
Carl is survived by his children; Carl Radon II, Anthony “Tony” (Millie Hanebrink) Radon, Tod Radon, Kellie (Enic) Sutton, Robin Radon, and Vallerie Christy. His nine grandchildren, four great grandchildren, and his siblings; Edward (Gloria) Radon, Mike (Jean) Williams, Shirley Slayton, Marge Brown, and Terrie Lee Williams.
Carl was predeceased by his parents, his wife, Bonnie, and his siblings, Fred, and Robert.
