McKEE, Marilyn L. – Of Flint, age 87, died Wednesday, May 19, 2021
at her residence.
Visitation 2-4pm and 6-8pm Sunday, May 23, 2021 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint.
Due to Covid-19 and government regulations, only 25 people will be allowed in the chapel at one time. Mask, group capacity and distancing guidelines must be practiced.
Funeral service will be held 11am Monday, May 24, 2021 at St. Paul Lutheran Church, 402 South Ballenger Highway, Flint, Reverend Dean Dumbrille officiating.
Visitation 10am Monday at church until the time of the service.
Burial in Sunset Hills Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Paul Lutheran Church and School.
Marilyn was born in Flint, Michigan on April 5, 1934, the daughter of the late Harry and Elsie (Schultz) Selle and was a resident of Flint all her life. On March 24, 1956, she married Jack McKee and he preceded her in death on August 11, 2011. Marilyn was a life member of St. Paul Lutheran School and Church, member of Lutheran Women’s Missionary League, Altar Guild and Quilting Club and she also taught pre-school at St Paul Lutheran School for 24 years. Marilyn also enjoyed summers at Lake Leelanau.
Surviving are children, Connie (Richard) Schafer, Kenny (Jan) McKee, Stephen (Stacey) McKee and Scott (Tara) McKee;
9 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren;
Brother, Richard (Judy) Selle;
And several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack in 2011, brother, Lloyd Selle and sisters, Frances Andrykovich, Harriet Walkley and Eleanor Barlow.
