HARRISON, Gordon Stanley - Age 87, of Alger formerly of Flushing, passed away Tuesday, December 26, 2023. Funeral service will be held 12:30 PM Tuesday, January 2, 2024 at Calvary Baptist Church, 10500 Grand Blanc Road, Gaines. Pastor Louis Canaday officiating. Burial in Great Lakes National Cemetery, Holly. Visitation will be held at the church from 10:30 AM Tuesday, January 2, 2024 until the time of the service. Those desiring may make contributions to Calvary Baptist Church.
Gordon was born December 29, 1935 in Linden, the son of Benjamin Franklin and Flossy (Ranner) Harrison. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He married Nancy Jean Kelly August 24, 1963 in St. Charles and she preceded him in death February 12, 2019. Gordon had resided in Alger for the past 3 years coming from Flushing. He retired from GM Fisher Body Ternsted Coldwater Road.
Surviving are: son, David Harrison, Sr.; grandchildren, Crystal (Joe) Seekings and David M. Harrison; great grandchildren, Adrianna, Atryu, Daniel and Bryan; sister, Marie (Clifford) Hoadley; and several nieces and nephews.
He was also preceded in death by his parents; son, Keith Harrison; brothers, Milton, William, Joe, Herbert and Gary; and sisters, Anna Mae and Elnora. Tributes may be shared at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com. |
