CALECA, Daniel Paul - Age 59 peacefully passed away January 9, 2024 surrounded by loving caregivers and family at Maple Woods Manor in Clio, Michigan.
Danny was the son of Joseph and Leona Caleca, born on March 13, 1964 in Flint Michigan. Danny was loved and cherished deeply by his parents and all who met and cared for him through the years. He had a precious smile, with a little mischief in his angel eyes.
He will be remembered with love by his family; sisters Bridget Morera, Margaret (Gene) Seckora, Cynthia Andrus, and a brother Joseph (Cheryl)Caleca. He was preceded in death by his parents Joseph and Leona and a very special Aunt, Rose Cusenza. He leaves behind an Aunt and Uncle, several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Monday January 15, 2024, at St. John Vianney Catholic Church, 2415 Bagley Street Flint, Michigan. Father Thomas Firestone officiating. Visitation 10a.m. Monday at church until the time of the Mass.
Entombment at Crestwood Cemetery.
If desired, contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, or The Flint Special Olympics an event Danny participated in.
A very special thank you to all the many caregivers through the years at Maple Woods that provided loving care. Most especially remembering the love and care of his mother.
