Borowicz, Belinda Jo, of Lennon, age 63, died Sunday, March 13, 2022, at McLaren-Flint. A memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Monday, March 21, 2022, at Rossell Funeral Home. A gathering of family and friends will be 4-8 p.m. Sunday and 10 a.m. until the time of the service Monday at 11 a.m. If desired, memorial contributions may be made to the Shiawassee County Humane Society.
Belinda was born in Flint, Michigan on November 17, 1958, the daughter of Frank and Joanne (Lucke) Tambs. She married Randy Borowicz on June 10, 1978, at St. Luke's Catholic Church in Flint. After working for many years at AC Spark Plug, Belinda left to be home with her children and later worked at the Elbow Room in Flushing. She enjoyed camping at Yogi Bear in Grayling, spending time at their cabin in Gaylord, going to Arbutus Beach and sitting on the dock enjoying an ice-cold beer. Hawaii (Maui) was her favorite place ever. Belinda loved to sit with her cats and watch the birds out her picture window. Her greatest joy was her family, especially all her grandchildren.
Belinda is survived by her husband of 43 years, Randy; children, Nicholas and wife Nicole Borowicz, Lisa and husband Scott Strauch; grandchildren, Emmett, Wade, Nora, Priya, Georgia; brothers, Frank Tambs, Jim and wife Tanya Tambs; sister, Sherry and husband Norm Freeman; and mother-in-law, Joyce Borowicz. She was preceded in death by her parents and father-in-law, Thomas Borowicz.
