ODLE, John Jr. - Of Columbiaville, age 90, passed away Sunday, December 22, 2024 at Majestic Care Assisted Living.
Funeral service will be held 6pm Friday, December 27, 2024 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint.
Dr. Max B. Hayden officiating.
Visitation 2pm Friday until the time of the service at the funeral home.
Cremation will take place following the service.
John was born in Port Huron, Michigan on October 16, 1934, the son of the late John and Crystal (Roskey) Odle. John married Mary Ann Rathburn on September 5, 1953. He was employed with General Motors for 43 years. John loved to travel, hunt, fish and spend time at his cabin in Rose City.
Surviving are children, Elaine (Joe) Asselin, John III (Elizabeth) Odle and Melissa Odle;
Grandchildren, Christine (Travis) Williams, Nichole (Nick) Smoke and Michael (Megan) Asselin and Katherine and Maximilian Odle;
Great-grandchildren, Zoe, Logan Smoke and Henry Asselin.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Ann Odle, siblings, Avis, James and Bessie, good friends, Silvia and William Clemence and Kenneth and Helen Ogles.
