SWAIN, Ethel (Edgie) Louise passed away on January 5, 2021. She was born on August 3, 1932 and was one of twelve children of Wilson and Ruth Carb. Edgie was working at Citizens Bank when she met and married Robert (Bob) Swain on April 3, 1954. She attended Fenton Lawn General Baptist Church and was an accomplished singer and member of the choir. Edgie retired from the Charter Township of Flint on August 1, 1994 after serving 25 years as a clerk. She was an excellent cook, enjoyed traveling and spending time with her family and friends. Edgie had a beautiful smile and always made you feel special with those big hugs when she greeted you.
She was preceded in death by her husband Bob, daughter Barbara, parents, four brothers and six sisters.
The family would like to send special thanks and appreciation to the entire staff at Westfall AFC and Heart to Heart Hospice for their unwavering support and care.
