Mary E. Stacks (Colles), age 100, of Flint, Michigan passed away on Sunday, September 12, 2021. Mary was born May 20, 1921 in Flint, Michigan to the late Mary and Elon Colles. Mary attended St. Matthew School for 12 years, graduating in 1939. She worked at AC Spark Plug, retiring after 32 years. She was married to Floyd "Red" Stacks, who preceded her in death in 1987. Mary loved animals, enjoyed traveling, playing golf, bowling and was an avid University of Michigan fan. She attended many football games over the years. Mary volunteered at St. Joseph Hospital for many years and belonged to the AC Luncheon Club and Leisure Ladies group. Mary is survived by her sister, Adella Fairless and many nieces, nephews and special friends. She was preceded in death by her brother, George Colles. In a note from Mary, she would like to send a special thank you to Diane Martin for everything. Family would also like to send a special thank you to the Alternative Elderly Care team for their loving support of Mary. Funeral mass will be celebrated on Friday, September 17, 2021 at 10am with one hour of visitation prior to the mass at St. Matthew Catholic Church - 706 Beach Street, Flint, Michigan. Fr.
