Sandra Leach, age 87 of Lapeer, passed away on November 8th 2021, in the comforts of her home and with her family by her side. Sandra was born in Mercedes, TX on July 6th 1934, to Santos and Lucille Olivarez. Sandra attended Gospel Light Baptist Church in Metamora for many years. She enjoyed spending her time reading the Bible and had a strong faith in God. She loved her family deeply and will be missed by many.
Sandra is survived by her children Juanita (Gary) Zaborowski, Chris (Larisa) Leach, Teresa (Matt) Craig, Jeanette Swadling, Janice (John) Cipielewski, and Jennifer Bales; grandchildren Cassandra, Jacob, Michelle, Amber, Renee, David, Brooke, Joshua, Logan, and Ethan; several great-grandchildren; sisters Gloria Aguinaga and Mary Lou Medrano.
Sandra was preceded in death by her husband Archie Leach, parents Lucille & Santos Olivarez, children Dean Leach and Marjorie Leach; brothers Henry, John, Tony, and Robert Olivarez; sisters Ramona Sanchez, Tila Gutierrez, and Delia Schocke.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, Nov. 14th from 4:00 - 8:00 PM and Monday, Nov. 15th from 4:00 - 8:00 PM. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, Nov. 16th 2021 at 11:00 AM at Lynch & Sons Funeral Directors - Capstick Chapel - 542 Liberty Park, Lapeer, MI 48446. Pastor Don Jenkins will officiate. Sandra will be laid to rest at Stiles Cemetery in Lapeer.
