TROUT, Charles L. “Charlie”– of Chesaning, age 86, died peacefully on Thursday, December 17, 2020 at his home with his wife and son by his side. Private graveside services will be held Saturday, December 19, 2020 in Montrose Township Cemetery. A memorial service will be held in the spring when it is safe for everyone to gather.
Charlie was born June 11, 1934 in West Branch, Michigan to the late Beason and Lacartha Joseph. After the early death of his mother, he was adopted his maternal grandparents, Albert and Octa Trout. He married his high school sweetheart, Betty Sikorski on July 5, 1952. They enjoyed 68 years of marriage, for which he told everyone. Charlie retired from Buick Motor Division after 30 years of service to the day. He enjoyed Nascar, trips to the casino, playing Bingo, and music. Charlie also enjoyed traveling and had been to every state, except Hawaii. He was a charter member of the Montrose Fraternal Order of Eagles - Blueberry Aerie #4090.
Surviving are: Loving wife, Betty Trout; Son, Charles A. Trout; Grandchildren: Chuck Trout, and Carissa Bleicher; Great grandchildren: Jason and Madeline Bleicher; Sisters: Leona Spiker, Betty Jenkins, Mildred Hutchins, Carol Thorpe, and Belinda Workman; Brothers: Raymond and Donald Joseph. Charlie was also preceded in death by: Grandparents; Step mother, Lilly Joseph; Infant sister, Betty Lou Joseph; Brothers: Sylvester and Robert Joseph; Sister, Thelma; Adoptive siblings: Reid, and Henry Trout, Virginia Holshal, and Leona Pepper; Many nieces, nephews, cousins, other loving family members and dear friends.
