KEEN, Dewey “Junior” - Of Genesee Township, age 85, died Wednesday, December 25, 2024 at his residence.
Funeral service will be held at 1pm Saturday, December 28, 2024 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint.
Pastor Stuart Cummins officiating.
Visitation 10am Saturday until the time of the service at the funeral home.
Burial in Flint Memorial Park.
Contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
Junior was born in Whitewood, Virginia on July 11, 1939, the son of the late Dewey G. and Goldie (Horn) Keen. On November 12, 1960 he married Jeanette Webb. Junior was employed with General Motors for 32 years. He loved to farm and garden. Junior was always willing to help anyone who needed it and would give the shirt off his back. Children and babies loved him.
Surviving are wife, Jeanette;
Children, Curtis Boyd, Bryan (Marilyn) Keen, Terry (Debra) Keen, Gerald (Lynnette) Keen, Tracy (Bill) Fowler, and Vanessa (Bill) Heiden;
32 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren;
Siblings, Hubert “Homer”, Larry, Ronald, and Ricky;
And many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by siblings, Loretta, Linda and Ruth.
