Helen Louise (Elliott) Holbin born August 2, 1927 to Alonso Elliott and Hattie (Pyscher) Elliott in Flint Michigan.
Helen graduated from Clio High School in 1945. She went on to study and graduate from the School of Business at GMI Institute. Helen married Robert Holbin in 1946. Helen faithfully performed business bookkeeping duties for her husband Bob, and both sons Jerry and Mark well into her 90’s. She was an accomplished pianist and ice skater. Helen was also a lifelong member of Vienna Chapter #283 Order of Eastern Stars.
Helen raised her family in Clio, Mi. She leaves behind her sons Gerald (Gena) Holbin and Mark (Cindy) Holbin. Grandchildren, Kelly Holbin of Atlanta, Ga, Corey (Jolie) Gibbs of Middleton Idaho, Adam ( Harmony) Fillmore of Clover South Carolina, Dustin Holbin (Karina Dubisky) of Charlotte North Carolina, Kyle Holbin (Chelby Beardslee) of Clio Mi, several great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Per Helen’s wishes her body will be donated to the University of Michigan Anatomical Donations Program.
A memorial celebration of life will be held at a future date. |
