WHITE, Leonard Henry – of Birch Run, age 76, died Tuesday, January 11, 2022 at Covenant Healthcare of Saginaw. Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 AM Monday, January 17, 2021 at O’Guinn Family Funeral Home in Clio, Michigan. Michael White officiating. The family will receive visitors on Sunday, January 16, 2022 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM and on Monday from 10:00 AM until the time of service at 11:00 AM at O’Guinn Family Funeral Home in Clio, Michigan. Memorial contributions can be made to the American Diabetes Association or the American Heart Association.
Leonard was born September 19, 1945 in Flint, Michigan to the late Henry and Marie (Allport) White. He grew up in Clio, Michigan and graduated from Clio High School with the class of 1963. On July 25, 2007 he married Shelley J. Keskes in Saginaw, Michigan. Prior to his retirement in 2004, Leonard worked for GM on the line with 32 years of service. He was a member of the UAW Local 659. Leonard enjoyed fishing, hunting, gardening, and Michigan Football. He also liked to play euchre, yard jarts, canning, and riding his 4 wheeler around his property. Leonard and Shelley loved to host people at their home where he would make his famous Ribs and Popcorn. However his greatest joy in life was spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.
Surviving are: Wife, Shelley White; Children, Michael (Tracy) White, Kelly (Farah) Farah, Karan (Terry) Dowell, Kim (Steven) Smith; Grandchildren, Steven (Lynzee) Smith, Nicholas (Chelsea) Smith, Heather Smith, Makayla Smith, Ashleigh Caudle, Michael Gonzales, Emily Gonzales, Kallie Gonzales, Hunter Dowell, Maryann Farah, Austin Farah, Jacob Farah, James Brown, Allison Brown, Kaci Brown, Elijah White; Sisters, Karen Dailey, Martha (Larry) Linseman; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his Parents; Brothers, Wally White, Kenny White, Tom White; Nephew, John White.
