HAWKINS, Richard A. "Hawk" - Age 79, of Linden, passed away August 14, 2024. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday, August 25, 2024 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Linden Chapel, 209 East Broad Street. Linden. Visitation will be 1:00 PM until the service time on Sunday. Richard was born September 29, 1944 in Flint, the son of Chesley and Geneva (Ordaway) Hawkins. Richard loved his work as an auctioneer and volunteered at many charity events. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and was the best dancer. He was a wonderful father and is survived by his daughter, Brandy (John) Magee; step-children, Austin Berry, Kimberly Coon, Karen (Robert) Metcalf and Louie (Laura) Berry; grandchildren, Johnathan, Brendan, Austin, Doug, Ashley and Kirstyn; six great-grandchildren and two on the way; brothers, Jerry and John.
