Scafe, Judith Ann, of Flushing, age 75, died peacefully at home on Wednesday, December 5, 2018, surrounded by her family and friends. A memorial service will be held in June by the pool at the Scafe’s home in Flushing.
Judy was born on September 9, 1943 in Flushing, Michigan to Beverly and Betty Lou (Travis) Jacobs. She graduated from Camelback High School in Phoenix, Arizona. She married Louie Scafe on August 11th, 1962 in Flushing. Judy surrounded herself with many friends and family enjoying golfing, bowling and swimming. She worked many years at Speakeasy in Flushing creating wonderful memories for so many. She and Louie built a home in Flushing putting in a pool in 1971, from then on, friends and family gathered all summer long. Judy will be dearly missed.
Judy is survived by her husband, Louie; daughters, Whitney (Steve) Barker and Morgan (Russell) Douglass and special daughter Michelle (John) Roe; grandchildren, Clayton Barker, Mitchell Barker, and Rielle Rose Douglass; and sister, Kay (Bill) Moore. She was preceded in death by her parents and her daughter, Courtney. |
