Anne Helen Lesniak, 89, of Bay City, formerly of Flushing, was born into eternal life on Thursday, January 7, 2021 in Bay City. Anne was born in Flint on March 30, 1931, the daughter of the late Walenty and Waleria (Krempa) Lesniak. She was a graduate of All Saints High School in 1949 and went on to work in the purchasing department for the City of Flint, retiring in 1977. She was a lifetime member of All Saints Catholic Church in Flint, where she taught religious education classes and was an active member of the Rosary Society, choir, and the Blue Army of Fatima. She also enjoyed volunteering for the North End Soup Kitchen.
Anne leaves her sister-in-law, Lucille Lesniak of Redford; 12 nieces and nephews, 28 great-nieces and nephews, and six great-great nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Rev. Fr. Marian Lesniak, Mence Lesniak, and John Lesniak; sisters, Casimira Yehle, Cecilia Lesniak, and Genevieve Lesniak, and her brother-in-law, William Yehle.
The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:30 AM on Thursday, January 14, 2021 at St. John the Evangelist Church, 404 N. Dayton St., Davison, MI 48423. Fr. Andrew Czajkowski and Anne's nephew, Fr. David Lesniak will concelebrate with the Rite of Committal to be held privately in New Calvary Catholic Cemetery in Flint. Visitation will be held on Thursday at church from 10:30 AM until 11:30 AM. Memorial contributions may be directed to North End Soup Kitchen or Catholic Charities of Flint. Final arrangements are in the care of Skorupski Family Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 821 N.
