BURNS, Jerry E. - Of Burton, age 78, died Monday, October 19, 2020 at McLaren-Flint.
Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held at a later date.
Jerry was born in Coleman, Michigan on January 9, 1942. He was the past owner of Burns Carpet Cleaning. On January 1, 1987, he married Rosemary Chartarnd in Flint. Jerry was a member of the Masonic Lodge and enjoyed golfing and fishing.
Surviving are wife, Rosemary;
children, Erica Thurman of Essexville, Trina Burns of Florida, Derek Burns of Essexville and Susan and husband Mark Brown of Sanford Lake.
several grandchildren;
sister, Sharon and husband David Slaof of Florida;
brothers, Barry and wife Amy Burns of Coleman, Rick Burns;
and many nieces and nephews.
