BEAN, Freda (Stringer), age 88, of Flushing, passed away peacefully Wednesday, May 19, 2022 at Wellbridge of Fenton with her family by her side. Graveside Services will be at 2:30 PM Monday, May 23, 2022 at Flushing Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Road, Swartz Creek. Freda was born November 2, 1933 in Eva, Alabama the daughter of Herman and Esther (Kelly) Stringer. She was a homemaker and loved taking care of people. She was an amazing mother, Nana, and great Nana. She was happiest when she was with the grandchildren or working in her many beautiful flower gardens. She enjoyed bird watching especially the "red birds" cardinals. Everyone who met her fell in love with her and will always remember that special twinkle she always had in her eyes. She will be forever remembered by her daughters, Denise Hunt, Connie (Cary) Spaly and Stephanie (Spencer) Carpenter. She was blessed with nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
