Bloomfield, Patricia A. – of Mt. Morris, age 80, passed away, Thursday, March 14, 2024, at her residence. Honoring her wishes, cremation will take place. An inurnment will take place at a later date at Great Lakes National Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
Patricia was born August 29, 1943, in Acme, West Virginia, to the late Carl and Norma (Wilson) Spence. A proud graduate of Eastbank High School, Patricia went on to build a career as a dedicated line worker in the automotive industry, where she spent 20 years at Buick before retiring in 1992. Her dedication, hard work, and warm spirit endeared her to all who knew her. Beyond her professional accomplishments, Patricia was a member of the Eagles in Davison, where she found joy in connecting with her community. Her passion for sewing, crocheting, and all things crafty showcased her creative spirit, and her culinary talents in the kitchen were second to none. Patricia's love for tap dancing and winter visits to Arizona spoke to her vibrant personality and zest for life. More than anything she loved her family and would do anything to lend a helping hand to whoever needed it. She will be greatly missed by many.
Surviving are: Husband, Douglas Bloomfield: Children: David (Naomi) Spaulding, Mark (Cheryl) Bloomfield, Michael (Michelle) Bloomfield, and Lisa (Bryan) Wagner; Grandchildren: Ammanda (Jason) Navarro, David (Meagan) Spaulding, Courtney (Eric Engman) Bloomfield, Curtis (Ashlee) Spaulding, Greg (Kendra) Bloomfield, Cristy (Eric) LaJeunesse, Jerrid Wagner, and Madelyn Bloomfield; Great Grandchildren: Gabriel, Jada, Triston, Aspen, Levi, Caroline, Sophia, Lily, Olivia Jo, Josephine, Cameron; Brother, Charles Spence. She is preceded in death by her stepson Jeff and her granddaughter, Micque Bloomfield, Brother, Henry Spence.
