KHIRFAN, Fayez Faried "Fred" - Age 87, of Swartz Creek, passed away Tuesday, October 24, 2023. A celebration of Life service will be held 3-9 PM Saturday, February 24, 2024 at U.A.W. Local 659, 4549 Van Slyke Road, Flint.
Fayez was born February 25, 1936 in Amman, Jordan. The son of Faried and Bushra (Alsaman) Khirfan. He came to America in 1954 to attend college. Fayez received a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration from Eastern Michigan University in Ypsilanti Michigan. He had resided in Swartz Creek for the past 52 years, coming from Flint. He owned and operated Khirfan’s Blue Collar Markets in Flint for 50+ years.
Surviving are: his sons; Leonard (Shirley) Khirfan and Bradley Khirfan, former wife; Priscilla Khirfan, former daughter-in-law; Michele Khirfan, grandchildren; Alexander Khirfan, Jasmine Khirfan, Joshua (Brielle) Khirfan, Nicholas (Marisa) Khirfan, Chelsea (Dan) Little and Alia Khirfan, granddaughter-in-law; Brandie Burgett, great grandchildren; Sky Khirfan, Dawson Little, and Alionna Khirfan, sisters; Najah Alghamian, Rabab Zaiter, and Fayezeh Khirfan.
He was preceded in death by his parents, sisters; Ousama Khirfan, and Linda Khirfan, brothers; Anwar Khirfan and Ghaleb Khirfan. |
