Elmer "Al" Gilbert, formerly of Swartz Creek, Michigan passed away April 16th, 2022 at the age of 89 at his long time home in Scottsdale, AZ surrounded by loved ones. Al joins the love of his life, Betty, to finish their love story together in eternity.
Al was born in Mt. Pleasant, Michigan, moved to Flint, where he was a Journeyman Millwright for Chevrolet Assembly. He graduated from Michigan State with a degree in Real Estate which began his successful Real Estate career in Michigan and Arizona. He was a member of Elf Khurafeh and a lifetime member of the Scottsdale 43 Masonic Lodge.
Al Gilbert is survived by his children, Vicki Hemming, Wayne, Warren, and Wendy Gilbert, and his loving dog Nina. Sisters Lucille Torpey, Laura Divins, Dorothy Billeau, and Patty Bryne, along with countless other family and friends who will mourn his loss and remember a life well lived.
Services will be held 5/21/22 at 10:00am Green Acres Mortuary 401 N Hayden Rd in Scottsdale. |
