STIMSON, Tonya Michelle – of Davison, MI, age 25, passed away Sunday, December 18, 2022. A Funeral Service will be held 11 AM Friday, December 23, 2022 at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Road, Davison, MI 48423; Pastor Dave Weir officiating. Interment will be in Dawn Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive visitors 12-7 PM Thursday, December 22, 2022 at Allen Funeral Home. There will be one hour of visitation prior to the service on Friday. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the GoFund Me page created in Tonya’s memory.
Tonya was born in Flint, MI on December 30, 1996, daughter of Thomas Stimson and Deborah (Wayne) Dockett. Tonya had a passion for shopping and was very good at picking out outfits. You could always find her taking “selfies.” Tonya loved spending time with her nieces and nephews, and they would call her “Aunt Ton Ton.” She also loved the smell of fish food and swore one day she would make the smell into a perfume. Also had a passion for pickles and leaving the jars empty of its juice. Tonya was a very kind, dedicated and loving person. She will be missed by all.
Tonya is survived by her father, Thomas Stimson; mother, Deborah (Wayne) Dockett; siblings, Lawrence (Katie) Stimson, Amber (Josh) Woodall, David Stimson, Kenneth Stimson, Desirae (Steve) Flores and Nathan Stimson; sisters-in-law, Mandy Stimson and Kathy Hudson; nieces and nephews, Miley, Kadin, Isiah, Alexys, Kyleigh, Ethan, Oliver, Luca, Claire, Jordyn, Aryana, Alaina, Everleigh and Peyton; many other loving family members and good friends. She was preceded in death by grandfather, James Stimson; grandmother, Shirley Carnes.
