Vanessa Kay (Rockman) Jones of New Lothrop, formerly of Fenton,
Died on August 11, 2025 after a long battle with COPD, at the age of 68.
Vanessa was born on May 21, 1957 in Flint, Michigan. She was a 1975 graduate of Fenton High School. She married Paul Otto Jones (Jonesy) in 1979. They spent 20 wonderful years together until his passing in 1999.
Vanessa had a party soul, and loved spending time with her family and friends going to the casino, playing cards, bingo, and hanging out at cookouts. She was a social butterfly and the life of the party. She will be missed by all her family and friends.
Vanessa is survived by her siblings, Ray Rockman, Shelly (Rick) Johnson, and Ryan Rockman; many nieces, nephews, and their families; especially Amy Rockman, who was her constant companion. She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Otto Jones (Jonesy); parents, Raymond Rockman Sr., and Clara Burghardt. |
