SENKINE, Leonard T. – Of Burton, age 69, died Friday, January 7, 2022 at Ascension Genesys Hospital.
Funeral service will be held 12 Noon Tuesday, January 11, 2022
at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint.
Burial in Great Lakes National Cemetery to be held 10am Wednesday, January 12, 2021.
Visitation 4-8pm Monday at the funeral home.
Leonard was born in Toronto, Canada on February 4, 1952, the son of Raymond and Leyna Senkine. Leonard married Jennifer Roberts on July 9, 1977 at First Presbyterian Church in Flint and she preceded him in death. He was a member of Faith Tabernacle Church. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren.
Surviving are children, Lori (Scott) Dagget, Steve (Crystal) Schadenberg and Damon Senkine;
13 grandchildren;
two great-grandchildren;
two sisters, Carol (Duane) Phillips and Mary Anne (John) Wakeford;
three sisters-in-law, Evelyn (Paul) Ryan,
Linda (Colonel)Lake and
Ramona (Connace) Booth;
two brothers-in-law, Terry (Ginger) Roberts and Roger Roberts;
several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond and Leyna, wife, Jennifer Senkine and son, Jimmy Allen Schadenberg.
