MOON, Vance L. – Age 67 of Swartz Creek, died Thursday, March 11, 2021.
Cremation has taken place and a private memorial service will be held.
Vance hired into General Motors fresh out of Flint Northwestern High School and worked in various roles until his retirement.
He was an avid fisherman, golfer, gardener, cook and card player.
Vance was blessed with the ability to make anything grow and anyone laugh, but also frustrated many opponents with his unorthodox, but effective playing style in golf, cards and chess.
He was known to be able to land Walleye right out of the Flint River with nothing more than a tooth-pick and a loose thread from his shirt sleeve.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Sheryl L. and mother, Gloria.
Surviving are son, Kyle Moon;
step-son, Christopher Adams;
father, William H.;
brothers and in-laws, Walter (Kathy) and Bill Jr. (Vicky); his loving
sister, Candace (Jim);
Uncles, Marv and Melvin;
cousin, “Beebe”;
nephews, Ryan, Jason, Zach, Clint, Corissa, Meghan, Madalyn;
among many other amazing family and friends.
