KEEN, Bobbie E. – Of Flint, age 85, died Thursday, October 8, 2020 at McLaren-Flint.
Funeral service will be held 2pm Thursday, October 22, 2020 at More Life Tabernacle, 6430 Lennon Road, Swartz Creek.
Bishop Jerry F.J. Stoner and Pastor Joshua Arrand co-officiating.
Visitation 1pm Thursday at church until the time of the service.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to More Life Tabernacle.
Bobbie was born in Perkins, Missouri on July 17, 1935, the son of the later George and Bertha (Whittaker) Keen. Bobbie graduated from Bendle High School. On May 1, 1996, he married Christine Compton. Bobbie proudly served in the United States Marine Corp. He was employed with General Motors Truck and Bus and was a member of More Life Tabernacle.
Surviving are wife Christine;
children, Donald Compton, Gwendolyn (Jeffrey) Dean, Tonya (Timothy) Young, Timothy (Holly) Compton and Julie Compton.
18 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren;
sister, Evelyn Carr;
several nieces and nephews;
and wonderful church family.
He was preceded in death by his two sons, Dan Keen and Michael Compton, brothers, Chuck and Vernon and sisters, Bernice and Linda.
