THATCHER, Suzanne Tonette (Hickmott) – of Lapeer, MI, age 60, passed away Friday, January 19, 2018. Cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service will be held 11 AM Wednesday, January 24, 2018 at St. Mark Lutheran Church, 5073 Daly Blvd., Flint, MI 48506; Pastor Gary L. Beck officiating. The family will receive visitors 2-4 PM & 6-8 PM Tuesday, January 23, 2018 at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Road, Davison, MI 48423 and 10-11 AM Wednesday, January 24, 2018 at St. Mark Lutheran Church. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Karmanos Cancer Institute at McLaren Lapeer Region, in Suzanne’s memory.
Suzanne was born in Flint, MI on November 19, 1957, daughter of James and Nancy (Ferguson) Hickmott. She married Dean Thatcher on March 25, 2010. Suzanne was a member of St. Mark Lutheran Church. She was a merchandiser for Burpee Merchandising, Red Box and Conference Marketing for cosmetics.
Suzanne is survived by her husband of 7 years, Dean; 2 children, Jennifer (Jason) Skinner and Ashley (Cody) Evans; 2 step-children, Emily Thatcher and Jacob Thatcher; 6 grandchildren, Kayla, Jacob, Taylor, Carter, Cooper and Crocket; 3 siblings, Sally (Joe) Grablick, Stephanie (Garnet) Atchison and David (Kim) Hickmott; many other loving family members and friends.
