Robert William Sincock, age 65, formerly of Grand Blanc MI, passed away on December 14, 2022 after a brief illness due to chronic conditions. A private Catholic service has taken place.
Robert was born in Flint MI on April 12, 1957, the oldest of three children born to the late William and Patricia (Falerios) Sincock. In his early years, the family lived in the Berry Patch in Flint, in 1970 they moved to Grand Blanc, and Robert continued living in Grand Blanc most of his life. He attended Holy Redeemer in Burton through 8th grade, then Grand Blanc High School graduating in 1976. After graduation, he worked at General Motors and was a proud member of UAW Local 659, retiring in 2009 from the CCA Customer Care & Aftersales (formerly SPO Service & Parts Operations) in Swartz Creek.
Robert had a passion for sports his entire life. He had a vast collection of team jerseys and ball caps, memorabilia and books, and was a human encyclopedia regarding sports trivia and statistics. He was a superfan and season ticket holder for the Flint Firebirds hockey, and loved the University of Michigan, Green Bay Packers, Toronto Blue Jays, Grand Blanc Bobcats, and WWE Wrestling to name a few.
Robert leaves to cherish his memory: sister Susan Thomas and husband Craig of Durand; brother Bradley Sincock and wife Laura of Gaylord; nephew Ryan Sincock of Gaylord; uncle and aunt James and Kathryn Falerios of California; loving family members; and many loyal, lifelong, cherished friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents William (1976) and Patricia (2021) Sincock. Robert’s family requests you pray for his Eternal Rest, and when watching or participating in any sporting event to remember him fondly and the happiness sports brought to his life. |
