WELLMAN, Dorothy Pauline – Of Swartz Creek, age 87, died Sunday, June 5, 2022 at Swank Assisted Living.
Funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, June 9, 2022 at North Baptist Church, 4004 Lennon Road, Flint, Pastor Harold Burkholder officiating.
Those desiring may make contributions to North Baptist Church.
Visitation 11 a.m. Thursday until the time of the service at the church.
Dorothy was born in Helena Township on February 16, 1935, the daughter of Durward and Marian (Frost) Wellman.
Dorothy graduated from Flint Tech High School. She was a life member of North Baptist Church and was the church secretary for many years.
Dorothy loved her Lord, loved life and loved laughter.
She enjoyed traveling with friends and bowling. She was very active in the Michigan Women’s Bowling Association.
Dorothy enjoyed eating at her favorite restaurant, Bob Evans.
Dorothy retired from General Motors Ternstedt after 38 years of service, retiring in 1994.
Surviving are nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by 2 brothers and 2 sisters.
