HALL, James J.R. – of Otisville, MI, age 78, passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by his family, on Saturday, April 23, 2022, which was he and Harriet’s 56th wedding anniversary. A Funeral Service will be held 5 PM Friday, April 29, 2022 at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Road, Davison, MI 48423; Pastor Brent Sloan officiating. Cremation will take place following the service. The family will receive visitors 4-5 PM Friday, April 29, 2022 at Allen Funeral Home.
Jim was born in Flint, MI on April 5, 1944, son of the late Curtis and Lila (Emmons) Hall. He attended Northern High School. In 1965, Jim married Harriet Myers on April 23, 1966 and she preceded him in death on November 4, 2019. He retired from General Motors in 1996 after 32 years of service. Jim enjoyed camping, sports, hunting, fishing and spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Jim is survived by 3 children, Shawn (Dan) Andrews, Jimmy (Shannon) Hall and Harriet (Randy) Johnson; 7 grandchildren, Chad (Megan) Andrews, Curtis (Emily Qualls) Andrews, Erica (Cody) Adolph, Jacob Johnson, Dylan Johnson, Madison Hall and Ronnie Myers; 3 great-grandchildren, Kinsley Andrews, Rowan Andrews and Jace Andrews; 4 siblings, Ed (Janet) Hall, Louie (Diane) Hall, David (Desdi) Hall and Joyce Ratza; many other loving family members and good friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Curtis and Lila Hall; wife, Harriet Hall; 12 siblings, Carl, Robert, Frank, Kenneth, Ralph, Clarence, Catherine, Esther, Audrey, Bernita, Margaret and Diane.
