JASKIEWICZ, Elaine – of Davison, age 59, passed away January 2, 2015 at home. Cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service will be held 3 PM Tuesday, January 6, 2015 at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Rd., Davison. Visitation will be 1-3 PM Tuesday. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Genesys Hurley Cancer Institute.
Elaine was born in Flint, MI on July 11, 1955, daughter of the late Maurice and Elza (DeClercq) Smitz. She married Michael Jaskiewicz on June 21, 1995. Elaine loved cooking and spending time with her grandchildren. She enjoyed traveling with her husband, camping in comfort and going on cruises. Elaine worked at VG’s for 15 years.
She is survived by her husband, Michael; daughters, Sara (Van) Breuggeman, Jessica (Mindy Scroggins) Roth, Marie (Bryon) Andreen; stepchildren, Scott Jaskiewicz, Pamela Jaskiewicz, Edwin Jaskiewicz; grandchildren, Elise, Brynn, William, Makayla, Gabriel, Emily, Tyler, Mikey; step-grandchildren, Michael, Jake, Allison, Trevor; sister, Irene (Richard) Krause. She was preceded in death by siblings, Wayne Smitz and Marcia Shaver.
