PILON, Mark Douglas - of Birch Run, age 58, passed away Tuesday, September 1, 2026. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11AM Thursday, September 10, 2026, at SS Charles and Helena Catholic Parish, 230 E. Vienna St., in Clio. Rev. Fr. Kenneth Coughlin officiating. The family will receive visitors at the O’Guinn Family Funeral Home in Clio on Wednesday from 4PM until 7PM, and at the church on Thursday from 10AM until the time of Mass at 11AM. A Rosary will be prayed at 6PM Wednesday evening during visitation at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Brain Injury Association of Michigan in Mark’s memory.
Mark was born in Flint, Michigan, on October 16, 1967, son of the late Douglas and Vel (Neal) Pilon. He married Jennifer Esper on July 30, 1994. Mark was a business entrepreneur. He was a member of SS Charles and Helena Catholic Church and contributed to monthly coffee and donuts. Mark was a hard worker and was always helpful to anyone who needed it, he did not know a stranger. Mark enjoyed making people laugh, going to live theater, bonfires with family and friends, and taking family vacations.
Mark is survived by: Wife, Jennifer; Daughter, Kimberly; Brothers: Mike (Erica) and Paul (Jennifer) and their children. He loved his special friends and neighbors, Jeff and Andrea Wendt and family.
