MCMANAMAN, Benjamina V. “Benjie” Of Swartz Creek, age 84, died Monday, November 9, 2020 at McLaren-Flint.
A private Funeral Mass will be held at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church, 1227 East Bristol Road in Burton,
Father Steve Anderson officiating.
Entombment at New Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Holy Redeemer Catholic Church or the Phillipine Association of Greater Flint.
Benjamina was born in Bambang Nueva Vizcaya, Philippines on March 31, 1936, the daughter of the late Nicasio and Ristituta (Carnate) Valdez. She was a member of Holy Redeemer Catholic Church, the St. Joseph Society and the Phillipine Association of Greater Flint.
Mrs. McManaman retired from the International Institute.
Surviving are brother, Teodorico Valdez;
5 sisters;
step-son, Laurence McManaman;
step-daughter, Genie McManaman;
the Darrah family;
many nieces, nephews and friends.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Robert L. McManaman, in 1993; her parents, Nicasio and Restituta Valdez.
