CORRIGALL, Kent T. – of Clio, age 65, died peacefully at home on Tuesday, October 5, 2021, with family by his side. Honoring his wishes, cremation will be taking place. A Celebration of Kent’s Life will be held 1PM Saturday, October 9, 2021, at the O’Guinn Family Funeral Home in Clio. The family will receive visitors at the funeral home on Saturday from 11AM until the time of service at 1PM. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family for future designation.
Kent was born April 18, 1956, in Flint, Michigan to Ronald and Elizabeth (Cooke) Corrigall. He graduated from Flushing High School in 1974 and later attended Grand Valley State University. Kent married Lydia Wilburn on October 3, 1987, in Flint. He was a self-employed flooring contractor for 45 years. Kent was a die-hard MSU spartan fan. He absolutely loved all different forms of music – especially the Beatles. Music was such a huge part of Kent’s everyday life, and he took pride in encouraging other generations to enjoy the beauty of it. Kent enjoyed classic cars, especially his 1958 Studebaker Golden Hawk, which he restored with one of his best friends, Terry LaMay. Above all, family was the most important to Kent. He was all about making the time you have worth it and will fondly be remembered for saying "Let's knock this out, then we can go have a beer."
Surviving are: Loving wife, Lydia Corrigall; Son, Ian (Ashley) Corrigall; Stepson, Marc Loomis (Fiancée Mary) and their daughters, Hayli, Sadie, and Harper; Father, Ronald (Jean) Corrigall; Sister, Kellie Bedard (Fiancé Brian); Several loving nieces, nephews, other loving family members and dear friends.
