SALDANA, Sheena Louise – Of Flint, age 39, passed away Monday, May 18, 2026 at her residence surrounded by her loving family.
Visitation 1-8pm Friday and 10:30am Saturday until the time of the service at the funeral home.
Funeral service will be held 11:30am Saturday, May 23, 2026 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint. Pastor Kevin Galloway II officiating.
Burial in Flint Memorial Park.
Sheena was born in Flint, Michigan on May 8, 1987, the daughter of Francisco Saldana and Vanilla Amaya. Sheena graduated from Flint Central High School, where she played soccer and was on the cross-country team. Sheena enjoyed listening to music, dancing and spending time with her son and her family.
Surviving are son, Gabriel Saldana;
mother, Vanilla Amaya;
siblings, Miquel Saldana, Treena Saldana and Francisco (Courtney) Saldana;
several aunts and uncles;
many nieces and nephews;
former husband and friend, Pierre Rice.
She was preceded in death by her father, Francisco and her grandparents.
