MONDEAU, DARRELL J. – of Flint, Michigan, age 71, passed away on December 30, 2025. A Funeral Service will be held at 11 AM on Thursday, January 8, 2026, at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Road, Davison, Michigan 48423; Pastor Dianna Vanderkarr officiating. Interment will take place following the service at New Calvary Catholic Cemetery. The family will receive visitors 4-7 PM on Wednesday, January 7, 2026, and again on Thursday, one hour prior to the service, beginning at 10 AM.

Darrell was born in Flint, Michigan, on August 21, 1954, the beloved son of the late Robert and Joyce (King) Mondeau. He married the love of his life, Michele Collins, on June 12, 1971, in Flint, Michigan. Family was Darrell’s pride and joy, and he treasured the time spent with those he loved. He enjoyed the outdoors, especially hunting, camping, and canoeing, and found great satisfaction in woodworking. Darrell will be remembered for his devotion to his family and his appreciation for life’s simple pleasures.

Darrell is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Michele Mondeau; children: Darrell (Terri) Mondeau, Sheila Mondeau, and Leslie Scott; grandchildren: Onalee, Teagan, Zane and Duncan; siblings: Earl (Glynda) Mondeau, Darwin (Nancy) Mondeau, Randy Mondeau, Allan (Linda) Mondeau, Daniel Mondeau and Timmy Mondeau; many other loving family members and friends. He was preceded in death by both parents; and brother, Gary Mondeau.
