BENNETT, William “Bill” James, Jr. – of Otisville, age 67, passed away January 9, 2019 at McLaren – Flint. A Funeral Service will be held 2 PM Saturday, January 12, 2019 at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Rd., Davison; Jim Bennett officiating. Burial will be in New Calvary Catholic Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11 AM until time of service on Saturday. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family.
Bill was born in Flint, MI on June 3, 1951, son of William James, Sr. and Blanche (Kujacznski) Bennett. He married his High School sweetheart, Beth Ann Gillette and they were married for 35 years before she preceded him in death in 2005. Bill enjoyed camping, fishing, riding his Harley and most of all, spending time with his family and friends.
Bill is survived by his children, Ann Jacob (Jessica McNayr), Dorothy (Ron) Cooper, Barbara (Lyman) Stewart and Samantha Nation; grandchildren, Jordan, Aubrey, Miranda, Bethany, Sydney, Shelby, Avery and Graham; mother, Blanche; siblings, Janey Yard, Mike (Connie) Bennett, Jim (Diane) Bennett, John (Cheri) Bennett, Robert (Tammy) Bennett, Mark (Elise) Bennett and Richard (Angie) Bennett; many special nieces and nephews; dear family and friends, Barry (Mary) Brown, Terry (Kathy) Hopper. He was preceded in death by his wife, father and grandson, Tristan Jacob.
