It is with great sadness that the family of Betty Ruth (Johnson) Schwieman announce her passing.
Betty, age 92, passed peacefully on Sunday, December 1, 2024, at her home in Zephyrhills Fl. She was born in Enterprise Alabama on July 13th 1932. She retired from Flint Osteopathic Hospital with over 30 years as a surgical technician, and moved to Dade City Florida where she was an active member of her community.
Preceded in death are her husband Robert Schwieman, parents John and Lois Johnson, and brothers Dutch and James Johnson.
Betty is survived by her children, Nancy (Fralish) Conroy and Louie Thomas (Elaine) Fralish, and brother Charles Johnson. Grandchildren: LeAnne (Jody) Grant, Leslie (Jake) Tebo, Sarah Conroy, Amanda and Jason. Great-grandchildren: Richelle (Josh) Rode, Eric (Stefanie) Barrett, Cameron (Callie) Grant, Hannah Grant, Kyle Lipp, Noah Kallery, Madeline and Olivia. Great-great grandchildren: Averie and Layla Rode. Several nieces and nephews and a special mention to her niece Josey.
A visitation for Betty will be held Thursday, December 12, 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Brown Funeral Home - 1480 E. Hill Road, Grand Blanc, Michigan followed by a funeral service at 1:00 PM. Betty will be laid to rest at Flint Memorial Park Cemetery, Mt. Morris, MI.
