OXLEY, Carol – of Otisville, MI, age 76, passed away Monday, January 4, 2021. Cremation has taken place. A Private Memorial Service will be held. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association in Carol’s name.
Carol was born in Flint, MI on August 18, 1944, daughter of the late Elmer and Mary (Srda) Stuemke. She married Phil Oxley on December 27, 1975. Carol enjoyed life – gardening, reading, and collecting antiques were some of her favorite pastimes. She was always on the go; meeting people that quickly became her cherished friends. Carol was the kindest, most giving person that we all loved and will be missed. Most of all, she will be deeply missed by her husband and best friend, Phil. Carol and Phil lovingly took care of each other, attending to each other’s every need.
Carol is survived by her husband, Phil Oxley; siblings, Elmer (Joe), and Ken; many other loving family members and dear friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Elmer and Mary “Peach” Stuemke.
