Rob passed away Thursday, February 22, 2024. Age 97 years. He was born October 17, 1926 in Brant to Henry and Marjorie Urbain. Rob served his country in the U.S. Army/Air Corp during WWII. He married Nellie Trumble on July 12, 1947 and she preceded him on August 2, 2018. Rob retired from farming and thoroughly enjoyed his family, doing yard work and keeping his house and car immaculate.
Surviving are their children, David (Barbara) Urbain, Mitchell (Sally) Urbain, Kathy (Gary) Flory and Julie (Steven) O’Dell; 16 grandchildren; 29 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, step-mother, Jessie Urbain; brothers, LaVern “Bud” (Della) Urbain, Henry “Hank” (Darlene) Urbain and sister, Arlene (John) Kocur.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Monday, February 26, 2024 at the Kendall Funeral Home, St. Charles. The family will receive visitors at the funeral home on Monday from 9:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow in Riverside Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Alzheimer’s Research. |
