Naomi L. Warson (Dean) peacefully went home to be with Jesus on June 5, 2026; surrounded by her loved ones as she was holding hands with the love of her life.
She was born on May 4, 1940 to Kenneth and Vera Dean in Flint, MI.
She was one of 9 siblings. At age 14, with her dark black hair, she met the love of her life. On March 6, 1959, she married George H. Warson. Together they were blessed with 3 children.
She loved to dance the jitterbug, having her nails painted, singing in the church choir, angels and her family; but mostly she loved serving the Lord.
Surviving is husband, Pastor George Warson. Children: David (Rhonda) Warson, Lisa (Ken) Wirebaugh. Grandchildren: Krysten (Ian) Little, Brittney (Jerry) Crago, Sheena (Donnie) Wolf, Logan Wirebaugh, Jason Warson, Cody and Chelsey Wirebaugh. Great-grandchildren: Bradley, Bentley, Madylin, Lucille, Sadie, Emmalyn, Addylin, Remington and Jerry Jr. Special neighbors who were like family Loren and Sue Austin.
Proceeded in death by her son, George Jr. (Joe) and grandson, Kenneth Chet (K.C.).
Funeral service will be held at 1pm Saturday, June 13, 2026, at Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint, Pastor Don Hendricks officiating.
Visitation will be held from 2-8pm Friday, June 12, 2026, and 11am Saturday until the time of service at the funeral home. Naomi’s final resting place will be at Flint Memorial Park.
