Clemens passed away on Thursday, March 5, 2020. He was 77.
Clemens was born on September 6, 1942 to the late Reinhardt and Florence Ill. He married the love of his life LuRene on July 17, 1965 and together they shared 54 years of marriage. Clem worked for Super Foods Grocery Warehouse for 35 years. Clem was a member of St Paul Lutheran Church. He enjoyed being an usher, serving on the Board of Elders, Board of Stewardship and money counting teams.
Clemens is forever loved by his children; Dawn (Tom) Devereaux, Daniel (Terrie) Ill, Melissa (Patrick) Galloway. Grandchildren; Justin, Sarah (Kenny), Ashleigh (Jessee), Tyler (Tasha), Courtney, Daniel Jr., Garrett (Justine). As well as many great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. He also leaves 2 brothers Ken (Kathy) Ill, Wilbert (Sue) Ill, and 1 sister Lillian (Edward) Sergent. Brothers-in-laws Fred (Vicky) Kinne of Midland, Dave (Jeanne) Kinne of Midland. He preceded in death by his loving wife LuRene, his parents and brother-in-law Richard Kinne.
The Ill family would like to invite family and friends to Hanlin Funeral Home in Millington, MI on Tuesday March 10, 2020 from 2:00pm to 8:00pm. The funeral service will be Wednesday March 11, 2020 at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Millington, MI at 11:00 a.m. with a time of visiting before the funeral from 10:00 a.m. until the funeral begins. In lieu of flowers you are welcome to leave a donation to St. Paul Lutheran Church.
