Richard “Dick” McMaster of Lapeer age 78 died Thursday September 18, 2025 at his residence. Honoring his wishes cremation has taken place. Celebration of Life will be held at 12:00 noon Friday September 26, 2025 at the River Church 2361 N. Irish Rd. Davison. Family will receive visitors from 11:00 am Friday until time of services at the church.
Dick was born in Flint, Michigan on May 31, 1947 the son of the late Cecil and Mary (Grace) McMaster and resided in the Lapeer area since 1989. Answering the call of his country Dick served in the US Air Force. Richard was joined in marriage to Barbara Jobe on August 16, 1980. He was member of The River Church of Davison and enjoyed talking to people about his Lord and Savior. Dick loved to make things out of anything he could find either out of metal or out of wood.
He leaves to cherish his memory, wife Barbara “Barb”; son: Patrick; siblings: Betty (Glen) Peelman, Evelyn Cox, and Jim McMaster; and host of extended family and friends. He is preceded in death by his 5 siblings. Please share your condolences at www.hansenfuneralhome.net
